Code From Home is a technology collective launching in 2026. We craft software, cloud systems, IoT integrations, and white-glove solutions for non-profits, public-sector teams, and mission-driven organizations — guided by our Human-First Design Principle.
COMMUNITY MAPS / SEATTLE
A map for local art and time spent together.
Can a map give us a reason to get out and spend time together? We’re using AI to help build MapForHuman, starting with the galleries and studios of Seattle’s Pioneer Square.
Find a gallery, save a few stops and connect them with a walking route. Invite a friend and see where the evening takes you.
What we do
We partner with non-profits, social enterprises, public-sector teams, and mission-driven companies to deliver craftsmanship-grade technology that amplifies human potential.
Custom web, mobile, and back-end software engineered for clarity, accessibility, and longevity — not vendor lock-in.
Honest, plain-language guidance on architecture, vendor choices, security, and digital strategy — aligned to your mission and budget.
Cloud-native systems on Azure and beyond: resilient, observable, cost-aware, and designed for the teams who will actually operate them.
End-to-end IoT solutions — from sensors and edge gateways to secure cloud telemetry — that turn signals from the physical world into human insight.
A small, senior team that walks with you from discovery to delivery to day-two operations. High-touch, high-trust, high-craft.
A discipline applied to every engagement: co-create with the people affected, design for dignity, and measure success in human outcomes.
The Golden Circle
We believe technology should amplify human potential, never diminish it. In a world racing to automate, we choose to build with conscience, craft, and care.
We apply our Human-First Design Principle: co-create with the people who will use what we build, default to accessibility and transparency, and own outcomes — not just deliverables.
Software development, technology consultation, cloud engineering, IoT system integration, and white-glove solution delivery — offered to non-profits, public-sector teams, and mission-driven organizations.
A world where every human — regardless of geography, ability, or income — is empowered by technology that respects their dignity, their data, and their time.
To partner with mission-driven organizations and deliver Human-First software, cloud, and IoT solutions that turn good intentions into measurable, lasting impact.
Craftsmanship. Honesty. Accessibility. Sustainability. Stewardship of the public good. We say what we mean and we ship what we promise.
Step 1: Listen
We begin by listening — to your team, your beneficiaries, and the humans who will live with what we build. No assumptions, no template solutions.
Step 2: Co-design
We co-design the solution with you, in plain language, with working prototypes — not 80-page proposals. Decisions are transparent and revisable.
Step 3: Build & Integrate
Senior engineers build the software, cloud, and IoT components with accessibility, security, and operability baked in from day one.
Step 4: Walk alongside
We do not ship and disappear. White-glove support, documentation, and knowledge transfer ensure your team thrives long after launch.
Lasting human impact.
Our 2026 focus
Code From Home is in its founding year. We are intentionally choosing a small first cohort of partners — organizations whose mission aligns with the human good.
Strengthening operations, fundraising, and beneficiary services with right-sized technology.
Modernizing citizen services with accessible, accountable, and cost-aware digital systems.
Scaling impact with cloud and IoT platforms that grow gracefully with your beneficiary base.
Secure, privacy-first solutions for clinics, caregivers, and community health programs.
Tools that put learners and educators first — open by default, inclusive by design.
IoT sensing, telemetry, and analytics that turn environmental data into actionable stewardship.
FAQ
A few of the questions early supporters are asking as we launch in 2026.
It means that before we choose a framework, a vendor, or a cloud region, we first ask: who is the human at the other end of this system, and how do we honor their time, dignity, and agency? Every technical decision is traceable back to a human outcome.
We operate a hybrid model: sponsored engagements at sustainable rates fund the team and underwrite reduced-fee and pro-bono work for partners whose mission clearly serves the public good. Future grants and sponsorships will expand our capacity for open-source contributions and volunteer programs.
We focus on non-profits, social enterprises, public-sector teams, healthcare, education, and climate organizations. We also welcome mission-aligned commercial partners whose work demonstrably serves people and communities.
We are deliberately polyglot, with deep expertise in Azure cloud, .NET, TypeScript, Python, edge/IoT platforms (Azure IoT, MQTT, LoRaWAN), and accessibility-first front-end engineering.
If your work serves people, communities, or the planet — and you value craftsmanship over shortcuts — we should talk. We are accepting a small number of founding partners for 2026 and will respond within two business days.
Absolutely — and 2026 is the best year to join. We are forming the founding cohort of engineers, designers, researchers, and operators who share our Human-First ethos. Visit our Contact page to start the conversation.
Tell us about your mission. We will listen first, then help you decide whether technology is the right answer — and if it is, we will build it with you, beside you.
